Depart Gauteng/airport in the morning and have lunch in Dullstroom, the home of trout farming and Dullstroom is an extremely picturesque place. The journey continues through historical Lydenburg and Orighstad. The next stop is at the Echo caves with its mysteries. A sharp drop in altitude into the Lowveld via the Abel Erasmus pass will take the tour to its first place of accommodation.
After breakfast you head back up the escarpment to do the Blyde River Canyon aspect of the panorama route. This includes admiring the 3 rondawels, the Lisbon falls and Bourke’s Luck potholes and Gods Window before stopping for lunch in Graskop, South Africa’s Pancake capital. The day ends heading down the escarpment to Hazyview.
Early to rise for a short visit through the Kruger National Park going in at the Kruger gate and going out at the Numbi gate. Leave for Gauteng depending on flights or other commitments.
